St Peter’s College invites applications for a Graduate Scholarship in Biomedical Sciences established by the late Gustav Born FRS, Honorary Fellow of the College. The scholarship is open to students who, during the academic year 2025- 26, will be in their second or third year of graduate studies (with a preference for those who will be in their second year), and reading for a research degree at the University of Oxford. They may be engaged in research in any field of biomedical sciences. The successful candidate will be expected to be or become a member of St Peter’s College.
The value of the award will be up to £5,000 per annum. Subject to satisfactory progress on annual review, it may be renewed during the period in which the student is liable for College and University fees.
The selection committee will consider academic excellence and financial need when making the award.
